This week, Barclays held an ETF conference in Los Angeles, which was highlighted in an Investors Business Daily story. We attended the conference, which focused on using ETFs to enhance portfolio performance.
There were several breakout sessions of various ETF topics. One focused in on technical analysis. For decades, money managers and advisers have been schooled on allocating assets through a buy and hold strategy. The session helped show advisers there are more sophisticated strategies and tools to actively manage portfolios.
ETFs are some of the most innovative investment tools available today, but you have to know how to use them to steer through up and down markets.
iShares also showed off their new logo, which is above.
