German ETF (EWG) Play on Global Economy | ETF Trends

Although the World Cup is over, it doesn’t mean we should stop looking at Germany.  Murray Coleman of Investor’s Business Daily took a look at the exchange traded fund iShares MSCI Germany (EWG).  He reviews the country’s economic potential and how it is part of an interconnected global economy.  Germany is a huge exporter of capital goods to emerging markets.  And with growth in these areas, Germany is sure to benefit.  The Port of Hamburg services over 1,000 ports worldwide. The ETF is up 6% since bottoming out in June.
