Barclays’ potential listing of iShares Silver Trust, a silver exchange traded fund, moved a step closer to approval after the SEC advanced the proposal a step and issued a filing. Barclays said this does not mean the silver ETF has been approved or indicates the SEC has established a timeline. No launch date has been set.
