Mutual fund companies have been successful marketing "target" mutual funds. The idea is to have a fund portfolio allocated appropriately for your projected retirement date and corresponding level of risk. Seligman has just jumped into the ETF world by offering three funds that do just that. Their web site is full of great hypothetical tools. The question will continue to be "How can picking one fund and forgetting about it be that easy?"
