Restaurant Will Feature Burger-Making Robots

A San Francisco-based culinary robotics company, Creator, is planning to open a restaurant that will feature burgers made with robotic technology. The machine itself is do-it-all device that can grind the meat and even add toppings tailored to the individual order.

Creator plans to debut this restaurant in September. The machine is said to be comprised of 20 computers, 350 sensors and 50 actuators that will create an assembly line responsible for making the burgers.

After an individual order is placed, the machine will grind and then cook the meat. Afterwards, the burger is pushed along a conveyor belt where fresh toppings can be added, as well as the bun sliced and toasted.
