Rocket Lab has excelled in the aerospace industry because of its innovation. Beck and his team were the first to employ new production techniques, such as 3D printing, in the rocket-building process. Additionally, they have replaced aluminum, a frequently used metal in rocket hulls, with lighter and stronger materials like carbon fiber.
Today, the company has over 200 employees, and has set a goal to reach one launch a month this year, with hopes to increase to one launch every two weeks by next year.
