Entering Wednesday, XLC was up 12% year-to-date, outpacing the S&P 500 by 82 basis points. The ETF “seeks to provide precise exposure to companies from the media, retailing, and software & services industries in the U.S.,” according to State Street.
Investors have added $968.21 million to XLC this year.
