ETF Trends publisher Tom Lydon discussed Deutsche X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares ETF (NYSEARCA:ASHR) on this week’s “ETF of the Week” podcast with Chuck Jaffe on the MoneyLife Show.
ASHR is an ETF to capitalize on the MSCI China A-shares index changes as MSCI is set to include China A-shares in its benchmark EM indices.
The fund has direct exposure to China A-shares market, CSI 300 Index; The CSI 300 index is designed to reflect the performance of the China A-shares market that is composed of the 300 largest and most liquid stocks in the China A-shares market.
According to Deutsche, 79.5% of ASHR’s portfolio corresponds with the 222 China A-shares that will be included in the MSCI’s global indices.
