Europe has been among the least loved areas of the global markets. According to Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Europe equities experienced 25 straight weeks of fund outflows and was the only region recording meaningful outflows this year, Bloomberg reports.
“We’ve had a lot of bumps in the road in Europe,” Edmund Shing, global head of equity and derivative strategy at BNP Paribas SA, told Bloomberg. Investors “just get a bit tired of it.”
