Jan Warneryd

Prior to joining Hillswick in 2008 as Senior Portfolio Manager for the S&P 500 Sector Selection Strategy, Jan Erik was a Global Macro Portfolio Manager at Tudor Investment Corp, where he managed investments in Equity Indices, Foreign Exchange and Fixed Income. Prior to Tudor, Jan Erik was the Head of Global Macro Proprietary trading within the Fixed Income Division at Morgan Stanley in New York. From 1996 until early 2003, Jan Erik worked for SEB, first as Proprietary Trader in the New York office and subsequently as Portfolio Manager at SEB Asset Management, which was the predecessor of Hillswick Asset Management, LLC. Jan Erik has also held positions with Kidder Peabody, Skandia, Stora and SHB. He holds a B.Sc. in Business and Economics from the University of Stockholm and has been a CFA (Certified Financial Analyst) charter holder since 1998.

Anders Ekernas

Anders Ekernäs is the Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Hillswick Asset Management, LLC, which was formed by Mr. Ekernas and his senior associates in a 2004 MBO agreement with SEB Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ.).

Mr. Ekernäs was the President and Chief Investment Officer of SEB Asset Management America, Inc. and its predecessor company for a 17-year period 1987 – 2004, having founded the firm in July 1987.

Between 1981 and 1987, Mr. Ekernas was the Chief Investment Officer of Sirius International Insurance Co., a Stockholm, Sweden based reinsurance company with most of its business and investments conducted in U.S. dollars, thereby laying the groundwork for the 1987 founding of a U.S. based institutional investment management advisory firm.

Prior to 1981, Mr. Ekernäs held various finance positions at Sirius International Insurance Co. and at the Stockholm, Sweden branch of Zurich Insurance Co.

Mr. Ekernäs graduated from the Stockholm School of Economics in 1971 with a “Civilekonom” degree (M.Sc/Finance).
