Can Emerging Market ETFs Do It Again in 2018?

In every quarter this year, IEMG has been among the top asset-gathering ETFs.

In an extended bull run, U.S. markets have rallied to record highs but they are now trading at lofty valuations relative to historical averages. On the other hand, international markets that have mostly lagged behind the outperformance in U.S. equities, prior to this year, remain attractively priced.

“We prefer equities outside the U.S., where fuller valuations are less of a drag. We are positive on EM equities due to increasing profitability and relatively attractive valuations,” according to BlackRock.
