Argentina-focused ETFs reacted positively to the news of IMF support with the Global X MSCI Argentina ETF (NYSEArca: ARGT) gaining 4.32% and the iShares MSCI Argentina & Glb Exps ETF (BATS: AGT) rising 3.80% today just 15 minutes prior to the U.S. market’s close. ARGT is down 16% and is down 15.5% thus far this year.
