28-Year-Old Entrepreneur’s Company Makes Millions Reselling on Amazon

“Pretty early on I realized I wasn’t in the career path that I wanted to be on… that experience really had me looking for other options…”

For Ryan Grant, a full-time job as an accountant was unfulfilling, and he sought change.

That’s when the 28-year-old turned back to his college side hustle. As a studentat Winona State University, Grant would sell used textbooks on Amazon and ship them to customers around the country for a profit of roughly $10,000 each year.

So, when Grant quit his job as an accountant, he restarted his reselling business. Grant sifts through the clearance aisles at Walmart and Target and purchases discounted products to later flip on Amazon. His purchases range across a variety of categories, including children’s toys to industrial hardware.
