Many investors have looked into the developing economies as the next growth story, and within the emerging markets, the internet and online retailer space may be the greatest growth story of our lifetime.
ETF Trends publisher Tom Lydon spoke with Kevin Carter, Founder of EMQQ, at the Inside ETFs conference that ran Jan. 22-25, 2017 to talk about the growing internet business in the emerging economies.
“It’s growing at a huge rate, you’re absolutely right, and that’s really the story,” Carter said. “This is, I believe, the greatest growth story of our lifetime.”
Here in the states and across other developed economies, many have taken internet usage for granted as it has become an integral part of our daily lives. However, the internet is only just beginning to seep into the developing economies.
