Janus Comes out with 'Smart Growth' ETFs | Page 2 of 2 | ETF Trends

JSML will try to reflect the performance of the Janus Small Cap Growth Alpha Index, which is comprised of small-cap stocks taken from the Solactive Small Cap Index that are then evaluated for “smart growth.”

Sector tilts include information technology 26.2%, healthcare 21.7%, industrials 15.7%, consumer discretionary 13.0%, financials 7.7%, consumer staples 2.4%, materials 1.7% and energy 1.5%. Compared to the benchmark small-cap index, JSML is overweight information technology and industrials.

JSMD tries to reflect the performance of the Janus Small/Mid Cap Growth Alpha Index, which tracks small- and mid-sized companies taken from the Solactive Small/Mid Cap Index that are evaulated for “smart growth.”

Sector allocations include tech 32.4%, industrials 18.8%, consumer discretionary 16.2%, healthcare 14.9%, financials 7.7%, energy 4.4%, materials 3.6% and consumer staples 1.8%. Compared to its small/mid cap benchmark, JSMD is overweight tech, industrials and energy.
