Weekly US days of supply of crude oil is a measure of the adequacy of commercial crude oil inventories. As defined by the US Energy Information Administration, it is calculated by dividing the commercial crude oil stock level (millions of barrels) by the refinery inputs of crude oil (millions of barrels per day), which is considered as a proxy of demand.
