Fundamentals may also help support the munis market, notably a drop in supply. The U.S. munis market contracted to $3.63 trillion over the third quarter, the lowest amount of outstanding debt in five-years, reports Lisa Lambert for Reuters.
On the demand side, investors added $695 million to muni mutual funds last week, the most in two months, according to Lipper US Fund Flows data.
