Stuck on You: Some Investors Remain Loyal to Silver ETFs

However, there are signs some investors have had enough of silver’s bearish ways. Since the start of the fourth quarter, SLV and SIVR are down 7.7%, declines that have been enough to prompt investors to pull nearly $88 million from SLV though SIVR has added $3.3 million in new assets.

Interestingly, some investors have been aggressive with silver ETFs this quarter. For example, the ProShares Ultra Silver ETF (NYSEArca: AGQ), a double-leveraged bet on silver prices, has seen fourth-quarter inflows of $11.5 million.
