Still, PPLT is not the only platinum ETF offender. The ETFS Physical Precious Metals Basket (NYSEArca: GLTR), which is a basket of physical, gold, silver, palladium and platinum holdings, also hit a new all-time low Wednesday.
So did the First Trust ISE Global Platinum Index Fund (NasdaqGM: PLTM). PLTM has plunged 22.6% over the past 90 days, though that is better than the declines experienced by rival gold miners over the same period.
