In short, appetite for equity exposure alternatives should be growing in China and for those interested in investing in China, not shrinking over the next five to ten years and beyond.

Case in point is the $30 million PEK (Market Vectors China A-Shares, Expense Ratio 0.72%) which debuted back in late 2010, but has clawed its way over time to its current asset level, placing it somewhere in the middle in terms of AUM size across all U.S. listed China equity focused products.
