Quality ETFs on the Rise

As the Journal notes, the quality factor is not limited to domestic ETFs. Global markets, both developed and emerging markets, represent growth avenues for index providers and fund issuers on the quality ETF front. Just last month, State Street Global Advisors, the second-largest U.S. ETF issuer, partnered with MSCI on 10 international quality ETFs, including the the SPDR MSCI World Quality Mix ETF (NYSEArca: QWLD), SPDR MSCI EAFE Quality Mix ETF (NYSEArca: QEFA) and the SPDR MSCI Emerging Markets Quality Mix ETF (NYSEArca: QEMM). In February, Market Vectors Partnered with MSCI to launch four global factor quality ETFs, including the Market Vectors MSCI Emerging Markets Quality ETF (NYSEArca: QEM) and the Market Vectors MSCI Emerging Markets Quality Dividend ETF (NYSEArca: QDEM).
