Amid renewed focus on the water investment thesis and talk of some hedge funds being involved with water stocks, the First Trust ISE Water Index Fund (NYSEArca: FIW) led several water ETFs appearing in the top-10.

By way of throwing five Russia ETFs into top-10 slot and four water funds into another, two often highly searched names enter this week’s top-10: The SPDR S&P Biotech ETF (NYSEArca: XBI) and the PowerShares Buyback Achievers Portfolio (NYSEArca: PKW).
The biggest decline in searches from last week’s top-10 was VIG while IBB was the biggest gainer, though not for the best of reasons.
