John Paulson’s Paulson & Co. hedge fund owned 10.2 million shares in the ETF worth $1.19 billion on December 31, Reuters reported. Paulson’s GLD stake of 10.2 million shares is just a fraction of the ETF’s 268.8 million shares outstanding as of Feb. 13 and less than half the shares he held in ETF at the end of the first quarter last year.
