Capitalizing on the success of the recently launched db X-trackers Harvest CSI 300 China A-Shares Fund (NYSEArca: ASHR), Deutsche Bank has filed plans with the Securities and Exchange Commission to launch a suite of China A-shares sector and market cap exchange traded funds to provide investors with direct access to various Chinese equity plays.

Deutsche Bank is working on a small-cap and sector ETF plays that hold China A-shares.

According to a filing, the db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Small Cap Fund (NYSEArca: ASHS) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 500 Index, which is comprised of 500 smallest and most liquid stocks in the China A-shares market.

According to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Technology Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHK) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Technology Index, which includes 800 of the largest and most liquid tech stocks in the China A-Shares market.

According to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Materials Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHB) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Materials Index, which tracks 800 of the largest and most liquid materials stocks n the China A-Shares market.

According to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Industrial Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHI) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Industrial Index, which follows 800 largest and most liquid industrial stocks in the China A-shares market.

According to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Health Care Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHV) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Health Care Index, which is comprised of 800 largest and most liquid health car companies in the China A-shares market.

According to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Financial Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHF) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Financial Index, which includes 800 largest and most liquid financial stocks in the China A-shares market.

According to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Consumer Staples Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHP) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Consumer Staples Index, which tracks 800 of the most liquid consumer staples stocks in the China A-shares market.

Lastly, according to a filing, db X-trackers Harvest China A-Shares Consumer Discretionary Sector Fund (NYSEArca: ASHY) will try to reflect the performance of the CSI 800 Consumer Discretionary Index, which follows 800 of the most liquid consumer discretionary stocks in the China A-shares market.

Deutsche’s partnership with Harvest Fund Management, China’s second-largest asset manager, is a key element in the bank’s ability to offer A-shares ETFs that holds actual equities. [DB’s China A-Shares ETF Officially Debuts]

Harvest is a Renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (RQFII), which means it meets Chinese regulatory requirements to be a foreign owner of A-shares. China’s A-shares trade in Shanghai and Shenzhen. [Exposure to Restricted A-Shares With ETFs]

In contrast, other China-related ETFs hold Chinese securities listed on Hong Kong or New York stock exchanges.
