As the exchange traded fund industry continues to grow and gain a greater following, a rising group of ETF Strategists are creating customized portfolios to help financial advisors.
ETF Trends’ Tom Lydon sat down with Mitch Reiner, Managing Partner at Wela Strategies, to discuss how financial advisors are beginning to warm up to the growing ETF managed portfolios, separate account space.
“For advisors, it’s kind of going back to the beginning stages of asset managers that are actually helping them with their practices of delivering solutions and help them leverage what they are doing, becoming more profitable and finding new revenue opportunities,” Reiner said.
Today, investors have the option to turn to ETF asset managers, or “ETF strategists,” for a more up-to-date separate account strategy. The ETF separate accounts are gaining traction as an easy way to track an investment theme using the ETF vehicle, allowing advisors to focus on growing their business.
