BlackRock’s iShares ETF unit plans to roll out a new fund tracking frontier markets on Thursday, according to reports.

The iShares MSCI Frontier 100 Index Fund will trade under the ticker “FM” on the NYSE Arca, Brendan Conway reports for Barron’s.

The management fee is 0.79%, according to the article.

The iShares fund will compete with Guggenheim Frontier Markets ETF (NYSEArca: FRN) and PowerShares MENA Frontier Countries Portfolio (NasdaqGM: PMNA).

The tracking index is a spin-off of the broader MSCI Frontier Markets Index, comprising 100 of its largest and most liquid companies, InvestorPlace reports.

The ETF will hold stocks from 20 frontier-market countries, including Argentina, Nigeria and Vietnam.
