BlackRock’s iShares has filed to launch an exchange traded fund that would invest in Latin American bonds as ETF providers continue to roll out products focused on emerging market debt.

“If launched, the ETF would go head to head with Market Vectors Latin America Aggregate Bond ETF (NYSEArca: BONO), which launched slightly over a year ago and was the first ETF to focus exclusively on Latin American bonds,” Morningstar reports.
