ETF Chart of the Day: Treasury 'STRIPS' | Page 2 of 2 | ETF Trends

From a trading standpoint, neither ETF trades tremendous amounts of volume on a daily basis. ZROZ averages 75,133 shares per day and EDV averages even less, with only 46,026 shares per day changing hands.

This said, both ETFs can be traded feasibly when executed properly, due to the nature of the underlying securities composed in the indexes the funds track, which are U.S. Treasury STRIPS, and a very active underlying market exists for those securities in the institutional fixed income world.
