Exchange traded funds that invest in inflation-protected bonds, U.S. Treasuries and Indonesian stocks earn top marks in the TheStreet’s latest ETF rankings.
The financial news and data website has assigned 16 newly rated ETFs a “buy” rating based on a sufficient track record of risk and performance data by the end of August 2011, reports Kevin Baker for TheStreet.
Schwab U.S. TIPS ETF (NYSEArca: SCHP), iShares MSCI Indonesia (NYSEArca: EIDO) and Schwab Intermediate-Term U.S. Treasury ETF (NYSEArca: SCHR) received A+ marks.
SCHP has returned 12.2% over the past year. The fund tracks U.S. Treasury Inflation Protected Securities that adjust for and help protect against inflation.
EIDO has returned 24.4% in the last year. The fund provides exposure to Indonesia’s market.
