Finally, on increased volume throughout the week (and in a week where equity volumes were largely below average), iShares MSCI Emerging Markets (NYSEArca: EEM) saw assets flow out of the fund even on an early week “pop” in performance. This could simply be a function of risk appetite and volatility amongst a collection of institutional investors who simply cannot stomach the weekly volatility that equities have served up recently, and would rather sit on the sidelines until the equity markets establish one clear direction.
