If you want to know what the ETF Invest conference is all about, you need not look much further than the name.
“The name says it all,” says Scott Burns, Morningstar’s director of ETF research. “ETF Invest is about investing in ETFs, not about ETFs per se.”
The goal of the conference is to bring together the ETF industry’s best and brightest to give investors and advisors an unbiased, independent perspective on investing in ETFs. The conference runs from Sept. 15-17 at The Swissotel in Chicago.
One of the most anticipated panels at the event is “Meet the Pundits,” moderated by MarketWatch’s Chuck Jaffe and paneled by Scott Burns, Tom Lydon and Index Universe’s Matt Hougan.
“The issue is that CEOs and provider reps are limited in what they can or will say, so I’m looking to experts like Tom for the secondary discussion and to share opinions from an outsider’s perspective,” Burns says.
