It has been one year since WisdomTree launched their first exchange traded funds (ETFs) and now the assets have reached $4 billion. Asif Suria on Seeking Alpha gives some insight into WisdomTree and their ETFs. Below are some of the highlights:
- In the first quarter of 2007, WisdomTree had 12.5% market share of the ETF industry;
- As dividends set by companies change, their products may require more active involvement, which could explain their higher expense ratios;
- WisdomTree plans to list on the Nasdaq towards the end of this year.
