ETF Assets Jump | ETF Trends

Combined exchange traded fund (ETF) assets jumped according to the Investment Company Institute. U.S. combined assets leaped $22.29 billion to $466.55 billion in April. ETFGuide reports this is a 5.0% increase over March. Moreover, during April the value of all ETF shares issued exceeded that of shares redeemed by $6.63 billion. So far in 2007, ETFs have a net issuance of $21 billion. More proof that the ETF industry is alive and well.
