According to the Investment Company Institute, as of June 30th, total exchange traded fund assets, in 263 funds, are $335.1 billion. That is a 38% increase over the last year.
In June, ETF assets rose 3.2%. Of the ETFs tracking U.S. stocks, assets rose to $234.8 billion from $224.2 billion in May, a 4.7% increase. However, those ETFs tracking international stocks fell 1.4%. The six bond ETF assets rose 6.7% in the same time period.
