Alternative Energy ETF (WilderHill PBW) Gaining Popularity | ETF Trends

According to Reuters, "a perfect storm of high energy prices,
government subsidies and renewed interest from Wall Street is
boosting investment in wind, solar and other alternative energy
projects."

Bill Gates is investing in ethanol. Fuel-cell makers
Plug Power Inc. and Capstone Turbine Corp., a producer of
low-emission micro-turbines are getting more attention by analysts too.

The easiest clean energy play is PowerShares WilderHill Clean Energy (PBW). IBD noted "in the past three months, the fund’s daily volume has averaged around
250,000 shares. Six months ago, it was trading at half that level. It
has also seen assets jump from $190 million at the start of 2006 past
$400 million today."
