As ETFs continue to grow, they are showing up in more investment areas. In an Ignites article today, Joe Morris reports that more and more VAs are investing in exchange traded funds. Integrity Life has been using them for the past year and a half and Jackson National Life is seriously considering offering ETFs in their VAs.
ETF providers realize this and are rolling out products which cater to the variable annuities. Barclays Global Investors iShares believes this trend will continue as more companies catch on.
