Drop in bond ETFs?

    Can anyone explain this drastic drop in the XSB and XBB last week? It's stalling my move away from them into ETF Dividend funds.

    Although I can't answer your question, I can tell you why I wouldn't play these to begin with. First, the movement is too small. Second, the volume is low; I prefer 500K to 1,000,000 as a daily minimum. And third, I pulled up a one year chart and see plenty of significant gaps down. And no gaps up. The risk is not worth the reward in my book.
