I follow the strategies I have on my system and pay nevermind to what anybody posts on boards such as Twitter. There are a few respected boards that I read, this being one of them. But I make my own decisions.

As far as short and financial ETF's - I treat them as any other ETF. Price action dictates my buys and sells.

I've used twitter for 3 weeks now - not by being a member - but by running searches and bookmarking legit sites. Let me share a great investment research news feed:

http://twitter.com/ZacksInvestment

Can you share any, beside Stocktwits?
Are you a loyal reader or contributor to Stocktwits?

Simply put, I do not have the attention span to follow everyone's rants and quasi-random thoughts on there. It's so tedious keeping track of who is who. I realize you can set up a filter. Anyway - yes, I think on a surface level, Stocktwits is very valuable for an in-the-moment perspective. Those ETFs they do list & talk about are actionable. Overall, I like to check it only 1x a day. Then again, I make 10-20 trades a year - none of them ETFs (yet).

$fas $faz $spy $xlf Direct from stocktwits. What's your strategy for trading short ETFs and financial ETFs? Do you listen to fellow traders, do your own due dilli, or both?
