Guggenheim Investments is finalizing its acquisition of Rydex|SGI as the fund provider rebrands the legacy Rydex|SGI ETF line with its own moniker.
According to a press release, as of March 1, 2012, the 27 Rydex|SGI ETFs will trade under the Guggenheim name, with the same ticker symbols and CUSIPs. The ETFs include:
- Guggenheim MSCI ACWI Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWAC)
- Guggenheim MSCI EAFE Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWEF)
- Guggenheim MSCI Emerging Markets Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWEM)
- Guggenheim S&P MidCap 400 Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWMD)
- Guggenheim Russell 1000 Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWRI)
- Guggenheim Russell MidCap Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWRM)
- Guggenheim Russell 2000 Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWRS)
- Guggenheim S&P SmallCap 600 Equal Weight ETF (NYSEArca: EWSM)
- Guggenheim S&P 500 Equal Weight Consumer Discretionary ETF (NYSEArca: RCD)
- Guggenheim S&P Midcap 400 Pure Growth ETF (NYSEArca: RFG)

However, the press release does not mention any name changes to the Rydex CurrencyShares line of foreign currency-related ETFs.
