Natural Gas ETFs Rally on Inventories Report | ETF Trends

Exchange traded funds (ETFs) tracking natural-gas futures jumped Thursday after a report showed inventories rose less than expected in the latest week.

U.S. Natural Gas Fund (NYSEArca: UNG) and iPath Dow Jones-UBS Natural Gas Subindex Total Return ETN (NYSEArca: GAZ) both rose more than 2% in afternoon trading.

The Energy Information Administration on Thursday reported natural-gas supplies posted a smaller-than-expected increase.
