An Infrastructure ETF Set to Benefit Under Trump Administration

Each week, ETF Trends publisher Tom Lydon sits down for “ETF of the Week” for MarketWatch on Chuck Jaffe’s MoneyLife Show where he highlights big movers and losers among exchange traded funds.

This week, Lydon looked at the Legg Mason Global Infrastructure ETF (INFR).

INFR is set to benefit from President-elect Donald Trump who has promised $1 trillion in infrastructure spending as he steps into office.

The fund’s sectors include essential assets for a functioning economy such as utilities infrastructure sectors, including electric utilities, gas utilities, independent power producers & energy traders, multi-utilities, renewable electricity and water utilities.

INFR’s top holdings include Union Pacific 5.0%, Transurban Group 4.6%, Enbridge 4.6%, Transcanada 4.5% and National Grid PLC 3.8%.
