ETF Trends Publisher Tom Lydon joined CNBC’s Jeff Cox from the Schwab Impact Conference in Denver to discuss the active versus passive management, which has gained intensity as more institutional investors and registered investment advisors have flocked to exchange traded funds.
Lydon notes that eight of 10 active managers lag their benchmarks, which only increases the allure of passive ETFs to advisors and investors.
Lydon also highlighted the durability of biotech and health care ETFs while noting that he expects the bull market in U.S. equities to continue in 2015.
