Market conditions can change at a drop of a dime. Consequently, more investors are incorporating alternative exchange traded fund strategies to augment their portfolios and diverse risk.
ETF Trends’ Tom Lydon recently sat down with Steve Cohen, Managing Director at ProShares, at the Morningstar ETF Invest Conference in Chicago to discuss alternative strategies and how investors are utilizing the investment vehicle to expand beyond core bond and stock holdings.
“The next natural conversation is alternatives,” Cohen said. “How can I manage risk better, manage volatility? I’m approaching retirement. I can’t take a big drop in the market. That’s the conversation we’re having with investors who are interested in alternatives.”
