Schwab Launches ETF Education Website

Charles Schwab (NYSE: SCHW) on Monday said it has launched a new website designed to provide education on ETFs by aggregating content, research and commentary from outside sources.

“Investors at all levels of sophistication and affluence are hungry to learn more about ETFs,” said Beth Flynn, vice president of ETF platform management at Charles Schwab, in a press release.

The new site is schwabetfeducationexchange.com.

Schwab described the site as “a collaborative effort among well-respected issuers and experts in the ETF industry, with educational content from more than 20 outside contributors.” It also features tools and other educational resources.

Contributed material will be vetted by an editorial board at Schwab, which manages it own line of ETFs.

“Investors at all experience levels want more knowledge about ETFs and how to use them,” Flynn added. “Our goal is to provide investors and advisors with the information and tools they need to make informed ETF investing choices.”

A Schwab study released earlier this year found that 45% of investors still believe they are “novices” when it comes to ETFs. [Schwab Study: ETFs Are Here to Stay but More Education Needed]
