Leveraged ETFsEmerging market exchange traded funds (ETFs) are on a roll lately, and we’ve been seeing a rally globally, so just in time for that is a little extra leverage from ProShares.

Today, ProShares launched four ETFs based on popular foreign indexes that seek to capture twice the daily performance of their underlying benchmark indexes.

  • ProShares Ultra MSCI EAFE (EFO)
  • ProShares Ultra MSCI Emerging Markets (EET)
  • ProShares Ultra FTSE/Xinhua China 25 (XPP)
  • ProShares Ultra MSCI Japan (EZJ)

ProShares has six ETFs that deliver short exposure to international markets. In the coming weeks, ProShares CEO Michael Sapir says that they plan to further expand their international offerings, writes Jeff Benjamin for Investment News.
