Get ur head up out of the sand. Not ALL of the precious metal ETFs and FUNDS have ALL of their supposed assets in their possession, under lock and key, with a custodian. Some have paper promises because they cannot get delivery on all they need and some have loaned out (for a supposed profit) some of their hard goods. Comes a crunch and guess who ends up holding an empty bag. TOM, TOM!
