AIG-Backed ETF Products In Europe Resume Trading

Exchange traded commodities (ETCs) in Europe that halted trading last week have finally resumed their full operation.

The ETF Securities funds were backed by American International Group (AIG), and ceased trading on Tuesday after market makers stopped offering prices.

All 113 products backed by AIG resumed trading on the London Stock Exchange this afternoon, reports Devon Maylie for Dow Jones Newswires. The products account for 30% of AIG’s assets.

Trading of all oter ETCs administered by ETF Securities have continued unaffected and are trading normally.
