		<description>There is a lot of confusion among investors with respect to high yield bonds, since they track equities more closely than federal/municipal bonds.  Although they may have less volatility, they also have less opportunity to appreciate.  I usually allocate them to a modest portion of the fixed income side of the portfolio.</description>
