Fathers, ETFs and Sports – What Could Be Better?

Happy Father’s Day to all you dads, who are anticipating a day of leisure while your exchange traded funds (ETFs) do the work. There isn’t a sports-related ETF, but there are other ETFs that might be on the radar due to the Sunday line-up. Perhaps PowerShares Dynamic Leisure and Entertainment (PEJ) or PowerShares Dynamic Media (PBS).
The U.S. Open at Torrey Pines will draw a crowd, and Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson and Adam Scott struggle for the limelight.
Later on, move your head for the NBA Playoffs! The Lakers and the Celtics will have it out in Los Angeles. The Celtics came back from a 24-point trail on Thursday night to lead the series 3-1. Will this be the end or will it continue on?
Happy Father’s Day, and everybody stay out of his way!
