2008 is upon us and investors can take this time to evaluate their portfolios and investment objectives, hopefully putting some exchange traded funds (ETFs) into their new year. Whether you want to diversify your portfolio into a global powerhouse or specialize it into a specific niche, there is an ETF to suit every goal. And if you can’t get around to modifying investment goals right now, make it a resolution for the New Year to really decipher what your investments are doing for you.
The Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year) will also give you an opportunity to do your portfolio some good. The Lunar New Year occurs every year on the first new moon of the first lunar month. The date falls between January 21 and February 21, on our Gregorian calender. This romance aside, don’t let your ETFs fall victim to the cycles of the moon. Take action before either of these New Years and resolve to let ETFs help you meet your goals.
